Welcome to my portfolio website! My name is Jess Pine. I am a UX/UI and Product Designer. My UX journey has surely not been linear… I studied Psychology and Marketing at Washington University in St. Louis.

I realized my favorite parts of my degree were the research and visual design aspects. This led me to UX design where I fell in love with designing user interfaces and conducting user interviews. I took an online UX certificate course after graduating called Designlab - UX Academy. This gave me an in-depth understanding of UX design principles, allowed me to create unique projects, and gave me the ability to learn from a wonderful mentor to help improve my design skills.

Since graduating, I interned at a start-up, and am now working as a UX/Product Designer for a marketing technology company designing new interactive advertisements for clients. In my free time, I like to do photography, travel, take care of my 2-year-old dog, and play the ukulele!
